How do I add my travel documents?

To add your travel documents:

  1. Open the app and go to the Profile tab
  2. Tap on "Travel Documents"
  3. Select "Add Document"
  4. Choose between Passport or Visa
  5. Fill in the required information

How do I track my travel expenses?

To track your travel expenses:

  1. Go to the Expenses tab
  2. Tap the "+" button to add a new expense
  3. Select the category (Food, Transport, Accommodation, etc.)
  4. Enter the amount and description
  5. Choose the trip it belongs to

You can view expense summaries and export reports for each trip.

How do I use the interactive maps?

The interactive maps help you explore destinations:

  • Go to the Map tab to see your current location
  • Search for destinations and attractions
  • View nearby restaurants, hotels, and points of interest
  • Plan routes between locations
  • Save favorite places for future reference

Location services must be enabled for full map functionality.

How do I plan a trip with agenda items?

To create a detailed trip with agenda items:

  1. Go to the Trips tab and tap "Create New Trip"
  2. Enter trip details (destination, dates, etc.)
  3. Tap "Add Agenda Item" to create your itinerary
  4. Add activities, meals, transportation, and other plans
  5. Set times and locations for each agenda item
  6. Add notes and reminders as needed

You can reorder agenda items by dragging them up or down.

How do notifications work?

GoTravelApp sends notifications for:

  • Document expiry reminders (90 and 30 days before)
  • Trip preparation reminders (7 and 1 day before)
  • Agenda item reminders
  • Expense tracking reminders
  • Important travel updates

You can customize notification settings in the Profile tab.

Is my data secure?

Yes, we take data security seriously:

  • All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • We use industry-standard security practices
  • Your travel documents, expenses, and trip data are only accessible to you
  • Location data is only used for map functionality and is not stored permanently
  • We never share your personal information with third parties

How do I update the app?

To update GoTravelApp:

  1. Open the App Store on your device
  2. Tap on your profile picture
  3. Scroll to find GoTravelApp
  4. Tap "Update" if available
